Introduction
Longshan Temple is a historic Taiwanese folk temple in the Wanhua District of Taipei, built in 1738 by settlers from Fujian as a gathering place for Chinese immigrants. It is dedicated primarily to Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of compassion, and enshrines over 100 Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian deities, making it one of Taipei's oldest and most revered active places of worship.
