Introduction
The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a national monument in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, built in 1980 to honor former leader Chiang Kai-shek. Standing about 70-76 meters tall with white walls and blue tiles, it sits at the east end of Liberty Square within a 25-hectare park, and hosts the well-known Changing of the Guard ceremony along with cultural exhibitions and performances.
