Introduction
Villefranche-sur-Mer is a seaside resort town in the Alpes-Maritimes department on the French Riviera, located just east of Nice between Nice and Monaco. It is known for one of the deepest natural harbours on the Riviera, a colorful pedestrian-friendly old town, the Citadelle Saint-Elme, and calm turquoise-water beaches like Plage des Marinières.
