Introduction
The Xi'an Muslim Quarter is a historic snack and commercial street area near the Bell and Drum Towers in Lianhu District, home to ten mosques and streets like Beiyuanmen, and known for its concentration of local Xi'an snacks. Nearby stands the Xi'an City Wall, a well-preserved Ming dynasty fortification (with earlier origins dating back to 194 B.C.) that is 13.75km long, 12m high, and surrounded by a moat with 18 gates, offering visitors a chance to walk or bike along the ramparts.
