Introduction
Casa de Pilatos is an Andalusian palace in Seville, built mainly in the 15th and 16th centuries, that serves as the permanent residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli. It blends Mudéjar craftsmanship with Italian Renaissance style, featuring azulejo tilework, ornate patios, and marble statues, and is considered the most outstanding example of Sevillian palatial civil architecture. Declared a National Monument in 1931, it occasionally hosts the royal family during visits to Seville.
